Moliterno, DMC, Osato, Wicke and Miron.

DMC popping out and spinning about on the deck to fakie drop-in is still amazing and I've no idea why more people don't do it.

Nyquist runs front brakes but aside from the odd nosepick, I've never seen him do much with em. I read he does a lot of ground tricks too, but not for the cameras.....

Nyquist runs a front brake for 360 suicide no handers, only way to get the front down

Ah... that explains it....

Wouldn't it be cool to have an all-rounder competition again ? Who'd win that one? For Dew tour events I reckon McCann but throw in flatland and all the old-schoolers would be back in vogue... Mind you DMC says he doesn't do as much flat now cos his wrists hurt.

I'm a bit confused here, does he dab the front brake before taking his hands off to prevent the front wheel from spinning?

Yep!

He also does it to help double barspins too apparently.

Tobias Wicke nosepicking Senad Grosic front wheel at a demo in Italy I think....

Senad halfway thru bars to nosepick at the same demo. Senad has a lot of tech tricks in his bag...

The one time King of Kingsworthy, Antoinette Pill just taking the pish with the toothpick

Mike "The Moose" O'Connell tweaking it true Standard style a while back at Southwater (fcuk it was cold that day!)

Somewhere I have some real good front brake pics of Nyquist, he rules with the fronty just not worth using it in events coz it doesnt gain the riders nothing....

other good front braker's are Germany's Mark Konig & UK's Ant Pearson...

Search for "F..B.R" OR "Front Brake Revolution" footage, they did one at Rob Ridges place & 1 at Molinterno's gaff, amazing riding!

I've never bothered. Never really thought about it as it happens...  That said, I've barely got any tension on my springs anyway - just enough for them to work properly  :)
