ok i give in

could somebody please explain to me what a pit bike is.
they just look like 20 inchers with kiddy wheels on to me.

put me straight someone lease :P

16" wheeled BMX bikes with long seat posts and pro sized bars.  Sometimes made from cutting down a 20" frame and fork  :daumenhoch:.

In the main, yes just a fashion thing just like the scooter fad that hit in the mid to late 80's  :daumenhoch:

I never understood them either (but was always afraid to ask)..seen a hutch one once think it was a gold trick star rep Hmmmmmmmmm :-\

we had a pit bike race at the os race at bulwell this year, great fun  :)

i think they look fun (silly) but fun
then again you,ve got to be a bit silly to chuck yourself down a ramp on a large peice of metal anyway ;D
