ok i give in

could somebody please explain to me what a pit bike is.
they just look like 20 inchers with kiddy wheels on to me.

put me straight someone lease

16" wheeled BMX bikes with long seat posts and pro sized bars. Sometimes made from cutting down a 20" frame and fork

In the main, yes just a fashion thing just like the scooter fad that hit in the mid to late 80's

I never understood them either (but was always afraid to ask)..seen a hutch one once think it was a gold trick star rep Hmmmmmmmmm $:-\$

we had a pit bike race at the os race at bulwell this year, great fun

i think they look fun (silly) but fun
then again you,ve got to be a bit silly to chuck yourself down a ramp on a large peice of metal anyway
