ok,weather permitting we will be running a race this coming sunday.the weathers been good and looks set to be ok for the weekend.
unfortunately we dont have any medals or trophies as its a last minute thing but if anyone would like to donate a couple for the younger classes that would be great.
registration closes at 11.30 looking to go racing at 12.there will be no hot food available so bring your own.great chance to stretch your legs and give the kids a chance to ride their new bikes.
classes will be mix and match depending on who turns up.lets hope we have a lot of fun.fancy dress optional

I think we'll have a trip up without the bikes to see what the crack is before we bite the bullet and make complete idiots of ourselves

Karlos, bring yer bike, you'll kick yourself if you don't....great little track to ease back in, nothing to worry about, you'll be right at home....bring the bike, if it don't make it outta the car, nothing lost, if ya don't bring it you'll wish you had...Hersden Rocks....I may even have to change my shifts at work so i can have a little gentle race myself.....fingers crossed

I will totally 2nd that Karlos. You will be absolutely gutted. Made my comeback after 24 years on this track. There isn't another track like it for 1st timers or making a comeback. If you don't kick yourself, someone else there will!!!!

this was gonna be my first race but my lid and knee gaskets aint arrived.

karlos.got a helmet you can borrow.dont let that stop you.looks like it will be pretty thin on the ground rider wise but with any luck plenty of kids should be there from the village.please only post if you are coming as it just makes the whole day look virtually pointless if anyone new looks on the site.

will be better now i've just changed the 39t for a 43t, but not sure about getting outta the gate, 1st pedal with bad leg is really difficult, but then the momentum of the crank keeps the leg moving, but then have the same when i stop pedaling to corner, so might be an interesting ride
