« on: December 26, 2008, 12:44 AM »
did profile make these hubs? and how old do you think they are? profile made the cranks in the 90s for gt.
so did they make hubs for them too?

i just picked em up from the usa for about £40 shipped  :daumenhoch:

i reckon a bargain?

has anyone got a 15 teeth freewheel spare? is 42/15 a decent hard gearing? like 45/16. i got a 42 teeth powerlite sprocket too

seems 42/15 is same as 28/10 which is a current fave for street riders. so all good if i can get a 15t fw

i think doing 42/15 on a mid flipflop hubset will be pretty trick. are the smaller diameter freewheels as reliable? i know g sport george was a user of 14 t before the late 90s cassette revolution. although shimano did bmx cassettes in the 80s?

in the 80s/most of 90s no-one gave a stuff about big cogs now look at us all :LolLolLolLol:
