We used to nick that orange bunsen-burner rubber hose stuff from school & slip it over our tech 3's.

A free alternative to those Sharp lever covers.

Shitty colour though.

Myself & Remo wallpapered our bikes before a BFA national @ Radlands... actually thats not naff!!! We only use wallpaper cause my Dad wouldnt let me mix up any of his artex!

painting yellow simplex with blackboard paint, so they were black, and for some strange reason, my mate using yellow pads on black tuffs.

we both had the same "ring of shame" but for different reasons....

its that white plaster stuff that looks like whipped cream, that plasterers put on their ceilings. often with a curvy or circular swishy pattern to make it look "nice"

don't know if its still fashionable. maybe its went away along with polystyrene ceiling tiles..

They were called a 'Pro-Gard' I think.....what a load of w4nk, any water stayed in the thing!

I had one of those BMX Magnums from tensor cycles in Darlington, I put Mongoose stickers on it.

It did fool a few people though, even with the cotter-pin crank (that I was forever putting new pins in)

Also did the spray yellow tuffs black thing.
