Does anyone know the exact spec of the bike used in the film NOT the bikes that were sold to the public?

I believe it was a KZ1 used in the film?

I fancy doing one so any help needed please.

Nick  ;)

Depends which one ya wanna do Nick !

Elliott's bike or the others ?

If it was Elliott's I think in a previous thread he ended up with three bikes ! At one point in the pre pruduction of the film the bike has skyways on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However yes the frame was a KZ1

I do have the spec somewhere...................... I think.............. it was deffo on a post hear somewhere !

Nice one Nick ;)

I knew it was a KZ1 as it didnt have a looptail in the film.

Would like to try and do Elliotts bike that has a red stem.

Watched the film with the kids and the bike looks awesome. :4_17_5:

I have just looked through the search button !

About a year to 18 months ago someone put up this very thread !

We even had movie stills of Eliiotts bike ! And it showed a few variations - all non loop tails !

The loop tails were only made as a selling point - 3 variations too !

I think Ian has the spec - I will check

I WISH I COULD FIND THAT POST - IT~S DOING MY HEAD IN  :LolLolLolLol:

A KZ-1 Elliott Replica - Here's my attempt at one :daumenhoch:

The pictures were taken in poor light so the candy red looks a bit dark :-\

I still need to change a few bits around.  It should have Oakley grips instead of the Tange ones I used on mine.  I suppose it should black all-black IRC tyres but I couldn't find any so I used Kenda knobblies.  The bike in the movie used a cheap and nasty steel seat clamp and chrome seat post but I used a suntour clamp and fluted post as I preferred the look of them.

I'm happy with mine but it is a 'work in progress' so I might swap some things around...
