new school chainring help

right my bike has got 39t 14t gearing at the moment i wanna know if 36t will fit and still have clearance on me brake anoyone know how much lower the atck height will be between 39t chainring and 36t please ,i can then measure my clearance see if it will work .

What frame dude? How much clearance is there now?

Most new school frames with chainstay brakes will run 25/9 gearing with no probs, so i reckon you'll be ok...  :daumenhoch:

if ya goin bigga thats when ya need to think if it will catch frame

if ya goin smaller there should b no issues

russ it wont catch the drops it is the brake im worried about catching  for about 10mm clearance at moment
