mr Fruit I'm no expert but I can have you pegging in in three goes.

Ray actually taught me to peg in (not my other Senseis Jedi & Philbert, however they taught me everything else I know)
and it took three goes, he even told me the first two goes you'll slide down the ramp, which I did.

a few things to remember.

1. keep your feet on
2. the first couple you'll not commit and if you keep your feet on you just slide down the ramp
3. the main problem you have is balancing before you do it, and whilst twobob is right you don't want you pedal on the deck, it will help you balance, so crank your right pedal forward flat on the deck (assuming pegs are on the right side) get that foot on first and leave it there, get your other foot on and don't try to spend too much time there once on, look, into the ramp then your head shoulders and bars should follow in, in one swift movement. go. it's the trying to balance and thinking about it that makes you wobble.
4. leave your brakes alone.

as for your one footed cheat, that might end up hurting, however, that will be a useful skill when learning grinds/stalls as you can throw you weight up there to get the right position, but have a foot planted on the deck, then manually drop the pegs on to the right place and straight back in with only one foot on the pedals.

Next Tuesday evening at Corby? come on, let's get you pegging in. and then stalling and grinding. it'll be great fun.

NO, NO, NO NO NO!!!!!!     :knuppel2: :knuppel2: :knuppel2:

Do NOT leave your platform side pedal on the deck!!!!   It's a terrible habit, it WILL HURT YOU EVENTUALLY, and when you come to learn stalls and grinds, it will hold you back, and damage the ramp!

NO, NO, NO NO NO!!!!!!

Fcuk the wobbling around - deal with it.

Get set up,  crank back and get the fcuk on with with it!

Or, as my little furry Jedi might say..........    MAN UP!

 ;)

you'll be pleased to know Rob when I stall or grind my pedal is no where near the deck. it means if I over balance i have to step off but i'm keeping my pedal away.

 :daumenhoch:

but at first to get set up i had to balance with the pedal on the deck.........but now I see the error of my ways. lol.

Hehehe.......  ;)

I understand fully where you're coming from bud.  But one day, the man with his pedal on the deck will go to peg in, his pedal will get stuck on the coping and he will go straight to shoulder.  Far better to wobble about ont' pegs instead  :)
