I love this old footage of Matt riding his big air ramp from back in the day.No roll in,no smooth ground just a big set of balls lol.

I was looking at some footage of this a few weeks ago and I noticed that he didn't even bother to take his pegs off for the big ramp.
Imagine a peg falling onto you from fifty feet :wtf:
The big air ramps still look mental but it must be so much easier when you have seen it done, to do it for the first time like matt did is incredible.

Amazing stuff - BIG BALLS! He lands almost the same place as his take off, his run up planks are tiny but he comes back on the same planks. He is the KING!

motorbike bloke at the end  - I don't even know what he does....  so funny.

Motorbike bloke is Steve Swope, Mats mucker for many many years  :)

Just for scale Ramp Rat, those runup planks are 8x4ft sheets of plywood....  That 1/4 was 21ft high I think?  Crazy. Especially with no setup jump.

These were some of the first images I saw in 93 that inspired me to ride again. It's all his fault!   ;D

this one is just as awesome, his condor motorbike on the 21 foot tall halfpipe (the quarter he is pulled to is half of the halfpipe. and the 2nd of his 21foot quarters)
