How much do they cost?

If it rides well/fast, that's more important than looks, but a company with Mongoose's experience/history/resources should be able to make a bike that not only rides good but looks good too.  Redline, Haro, Free agent, Intense, etc manage it.

It's not that bad looking though.  Certainly better than some previous incarnations of the Supergoose.

This one retails for around £330.In know that the majority of their range is intro/budget bikes, just think that other companies offer much higher spec for around the same price. It seems to be a step backwards-anyone remember the Goose racebikes in blue/orange from around 4 years back?

oooh not a good looking bike that mongoose. if you don't want to spend lots of dosh on a starter bike but want a great frame and the potential to upgrade at a later date then  the 2009 gt power series pro has to be a serious contender. now runs a euro b/b

I'd check your price on that wolfy, the rrp jumped to £299 as from mon 3rd November, you might sell a few if you leave it, but you will be losing out, unless you have good stock of the old priced ones that is :daumenhoch:

Re the GT, I have just sat on ours having built it and it feels really nice, a great looking and fairly spec'd bike, even at the new price  ;)

Got to admit i did not like the look of the 'Goose at first but now its starting to grow on me! and at £269 it would be a minty example of an starter bike ;)... I also like that Mongoose have gone back to the old logo as any other just doesnt do it for me ;) ;)

As an oldskool goose fanatic knowing fook all about new school bikes i have to say that doesn't look that bad to me and that's saying something as i haven't liked any previous new school mongoose bikes. Good to see they've gone back to the old font for the logo and using a more interesting white / black colour contrast instead of the beige and all black bikes recently. The grips, pads and seat look sh!te but maybe that's just me  :-\ From the other comments above sounds like it's pretty light and nice to ride too and for 250 quid sounds like good value for money.
But as i said what the fook do i know about new school  :LolLolLolLol:

They are an ugly bike to look at but surprisingly nice to ride......And very light too. But with that said I would never buy one for the simple fact that even if you do upgrade the parts you are still left with one hell of an ugly frame.
