Measure the internal diameter of your Headtube

A BMX 1" normal cup size for a (22mm quill) is 32.7mm

Remember your Headtube diameter will be slighter lower than this.  32.7mm = 32.0mm or whatever so that your Cup stay in the head tube.

If its not a BMX 1" standard then it will be 32.2mm Cup diameter which will be a head tube diameter of less than 32mm

Raleigh also used the smaller sized cup diameters!!

Look here for a run down

Remember BMX is NOT the Standard 1" size headset that all other 1" bikes use  e.g  Ladies bikes and Shopping bikes etc, etc.

The BMX standard is probably larger for strength reason (just a guess)

A 1" road bike headset might do!!

And maybe some of the Burner Boys might know of where to get them.

Most Raleigh bikes would have used the smaller headset (Not the BMX's though, I think)

You'll have to do some searching on Ebay or internet and then email them to find out the cup size diameter!

What is the internal diameter measurement of your headtube?

PS.  Its still a 1" headset just different sized cups!!
