How much - roughly - to build a track???
« on: December 04, 2008, 06:01 PM »
Been quoted two figures.... £50k and £500k - anyone have any ideas which is more realistic...?

Looking at either regional standard or National standard (but suspect Regional is fine)

If you need to bring in soil then around £100k for a good regional standard track

£500k would be for an internation standard track i would say

can you expand on this?

as in you are putting proposals to the local council and they are not having any of it?

have you canvassed local business/chamber of commerce etc?

What about Lottery funding OR  Olympic Ctte Funding?   :Great_Britain: :Great_Britain: :Great_Britain:

"They've" just given £20million to cycling (was it 20?)...admittedly it's daft giving MORE cash to what we're GOOD at, but if it means (possibly) more BMX tracks then let's take it!! :Great_Britain: :Great_Britain: :Great_Britain:

That Manchester track looks nails...I'm out of breath an sweatin' just looking at it...
