looking good so far bert ,id love to have one in the blue pearl. i love those tall sidewall arayas with those holographic decal and with gumwalls 

when i get that ride with the taj test ill post it up

yeah hes a bada*s on a small wheel push bike for sure....
those marks on the top tube are just bits of film from the original packing  
i have some low drags for it just need to pull the rest together now

thats the plan...the wheels are himyko rims with profile ss hubs...all nos so far.
i could really do with a better set of mk1 lowdrags mine are ok but not as mint as id like....might use jumping bars if not i have a good set of them

they are pretty tidy. just not mint they still have a survivor decal of a little blue devil holding a bomb....
im just being fussy really but the taj has sentimental value to me more than any of my other builds.....
i had one when i was younger and we went through alot...i know where it is still but its got a good home and lives with my pal....

i got that ride in today(along with a few others). isnt much of a test but cool nuntheless. ill try an get the pics tonight for you,been busy uploading to youtube...

theres an interesting timeline with the taj too, i like that about it,

when taj and joe started t1 the frame design transferred over to the barcode frame,

i know most dont agree with me but i put the t1 barcode in the top 10 bmx frames of all time,

hoffman continued the design over to the deebo frame but it jus wasnt the same, i had one for a while and it still remains the worst frame i've ever owned, it was such a pig that i swore i'd never buy another hoffman, and i havent, to this day

i remember the eggs...that took me back to when i first started riding...i wonder if anybody has an egg built up anywhere
they must be quite a rare thing to find,,,

ive seen one or two of the eggs around,surprising as most broke like twigs  plus they wernt around long.  there was one on craigslist for sale a few months back,mint for 150 bucks.

a pic of a pic i'm afraid but heres yours truly on a taiwan blue taj, abubaca. what a frame i had to sell it to cover going to koc one year and go back on the standard lengthy i couldn't shift in time.

i really do wish i'd had the chrome ramp room one tim at sideways cycles had as the taiwan one had 14mm drops and was a bitch to sort with super pros rekka came to the rescue however.

yeah i'd have to say its nice to find out my chrome USA made Taj is confirmed as being from a strictly limited run
