Bill - It pains me that we're being asked for metal but its everyones night so I'm seeing what we can do.

Hopefully we'll keep everyone happy but it may be hard to meet some requests...

I was really up for this with a few of my mates after i heard the last one was so good.Seeing as im riding again thought it would be good to catch up with some old faces.
I think the places were all taken back in late September,i was also told it was for novices because alot of riders wont ride if others are too good.That seems a bit weird because i thought it was for old skool riders too,no matter what you can or cant do?Its surely not about that anyway but about riders coming together and having fun like we all did in the day?
I was suprised to see riders who i rode with years ago on the list,would have been cool to catch up with them,maybe next time?

Mark this is the RAd Xmas party, not to be confused with the Novice nights we have.  

so this is basically for anyone, and i can see from the riders list there's an interesting mix, I must admit I am a bit worried that some of the novices who signed up to ride think it's gonna be like the novice nights, but no bother it;s all about having fun.

I think there still will be novice nights, probably organise something in Feb now, but you are way tooooo good for a novice night, however you can never have to many mentors at these nights so you'd be welcome in a teaching capacity, and all the mentors get to ride to.

thing with the novice nights is it gives people a chance to ride a park without the (perceived) intimidation, the sort of people not confident enough to ride in park full of ace riders, I was like that at the beginning, but now I feel reasonably comfortable riding with people of a much higher ability than me, but not all riders get to that stage and the only time they ride is at the novice nights.

Lazychubs, we used to take our girls to creation on wet sundays if they couldn't race, stressfull sometimes as your trying not to be a nuisance to other park users, while also not being to restrictive towards your child..
never had any issues tho as most people are understanding when it comes to young'uns, it'll be mint seeing those little rippers darting about the place on saturday

My only dilemma is how many bikes can i fit into joes van.  . sounds like everyone else has done all the planning and thinking for me.
