Kuwahara Lazer Bars.
« on: December 03, 2008, 12:52 PM »
HI,
I have got a pair of Kuwahara Lazer Bars (Stamped and with original stickers), they are slightly rusty, and the stickers are scratched. Someone has offered £20 to "take them off my hands", just a quick q, what is the approximate worth?

Cheers DT

If the chrome is good a lot more than a score, between £40 and £50 but Bodamus or Kuwahero are your men for pricing Kuwie stuff   :daumenhoch:

This time last year you could have got nearer the £100 if not more, but at the moment assuming in good condition approx £60 - they are still a rare handlebar :daumenhoch:

I still think a mint set will set you back anywhere between £85 - £100 + all day long.

So a rusty set has got to be worth at least £40 if you can a rechrome cheap enough?

I have just bought a mint set for 75quid, took me 5 months to find some stamped ones. Keep them and get them sorted  :daumenhoch:

i just bought a set of kuwi bars that came off of a nova, these are identical apparently to lazer bars except they weigh a ton!they were rechromed and set me back £55 which was pretty good i thought,a set of lasers rechromed would go for £100 all day long i reckon so £20 for a used set is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to cheap,id bite your arm off at that price! :D

20 quid is way off the money, but as for value, e-bay for that, or get a supporter tag and name your price on here.
