Phil I think it was called a "pro-class" MX seat clamp on the goose mate - but yeah you're right it's basically a DiaCompe copy (not as good though  :( ) as for the ebay listing i doubt it's a goose one but it looks quite nice. I've got a pro-class one that came off a cali - it's a survivor (if you can call it that) it's all pitted and needs work  :buck2: In my opinion the goose ones are a bit chubby in comparison to the others knocking round  :daumenhoch:

Quite often the goose ones look kinda scruffier cast if that makes sense  ??? ( compared to DC gen ones ) .

I'd go along with that - also the MX stamp doesn't look as wide, deep, or acuratley grooved on the goose ones .....again if that makes sense  :LolLolLolLol:
