I hadn't planned to no....maybe i'll stick it in the van just incase.

to be honest I think I'll go out to one of these quiet countryside minis in the fair weather to try it first on my own.  :daumenhoch:

What if the mid school had wide CW bars, a high layback and skyways, is it just technique whatever the bike or would the components make a difference?

hey mr Aerostylie, good to hear from you.

I reckon skyways would give me a problem because i wouldn't be able to have my tyres hard enough so wouldn't roll and well and would be a bit squidgy. but i have araya 48s and those peregrine tyres so i should be okay.

i might find my seat get's in the way. cos my new school seat is slammed, however i'm gonna change that so i can at least seat down and pedal.

as for bars, not sure, i ride reasonably wide bars already....i tell you what, next novice night i'll have a blast on your GT. lol.

though from memory it has them tiny pegs, not sure how you get them to reach the coping.

CWs, layback and tuffs will make ANY bike feel crap  ;D

Joe, if you do learn disasters next then watch out for those on your Sport.
Disasters with a bashguard can be like trying to walk on ice!

lol....just thinking of trying to get pegs stalls on it to get some nice pics, but i guess i would want to transfer any tricks i learn on my new school to it, so I'll bear in mind disasters, that shiney bit of placcy is going to be fun on the coping. lol.

Joe I used to have one of those Orange Masters with the bash like your sport. Used to love using it for tricks but as Al states, can catch you out when you least expect it >:D I cut the back edge off mine (the bit that slopes up to the back tyre) as it made it a lot more predictable landing on it :daumenhoch:

Arrr, that's why my riding is so bad ;D

Joe, at the next novice meet, you're more than welcome to have a blast on the GT......see what a proper bike is all about...loose headsets, flexi wheels and jelly frames  :LolLolLolLol:

must admit, id like a sport myself. was very tempted at that f+f the other day.

it would be nice to have a mid ride that had the interest of oldschool, but at least SOME of the conveniences of new school.
