Has anyone ever heard of a Challenger Expert from 1983??

I have someone that's got one he wants to sell but I don't know anything about it?

remember a bike co called challenger, in fact think i may well have seen an ad yesterday going through a few old mags??

but not linked to goose, will have a look again a bit later for you Si, only gooses i remember from 83 were Cali and pro-class and super??

if my old age head is thinking rite  think challenger was made by falcon    but i could be wrong

mongoose did have a US model called the expert

but not the Challenger Expert

nothing in my mags, but kev may be right, maybe catalogue sale item, i.e. littlewoods or empire stores, pre argos days???

Right got a little bit more info from my illiterate work coleague ::)

It's a Mongoose Expert and it has Chattsworth written on it as well.?? I'm assuming it's the area it was bought from and may be a shop sticker.

chances are the serial number will start with M3 .....
if you think its a 1983 model

same frame as the cali'
so can be all tubes chromoly or just trimoly (front three tubes)

if its complete and good nick might go £125 tops
if its more plop than mr ploppy then £40 / £50 ?

Why would they have a challenger expert in Fiesta, Knave, Mayfair or Men-Only Neil?  :LolLolLolLol:
