removing brake rub from tuffs?

further to the removing paint from tuffs thread,what is the best way to remove brake rub from the rims?
the white tuff i have stripped has a dirty great black streak round the rims.
the nitromors and wire wool while i was stripping the paint seemed to remove a bit of it but has anyone got any magic tricks to do it quick?

don't want to take chunks out,those blades are super sharp

Cif bathroom cleaner + abrasive washing up cloth/pad. Not too abrasive though. Those green ones do the job nicely

started with the stanley blade in me lunch hour today,works a treat
scraped then rubbed rim with a bit of finishing paper
