Top places to ride....
« on: November 20, 2008, 07:31 AM »
I was thinking this morning where I enjoy riding and where I'd like to ride in the future...

So I thought I'd post this to ask everyone and get some ideas of places worth visiting when the sun comes out one day...

So I'll kick off....

Favorite 2 places to ride...

1. Corby - Just love the place, got everything you need and is a good social!!!
2. Pittville, CHeltenham - My local park and is a nice setup for BMX

2 places I'd like to ride in the near future that I've not ridden yet...

1. Saffron Walden - Place looks crazy
2. PegHill as the bowl there looks mental and its just down the road from me

well, not had that much experience, so:

places i like to ride:

1. Corby
2. Creations mini ramp.

places I'd love to ride:

1. Charlton, heard its a cool set up
2. Saffy, only been there once, need to try it out again
3. Great Dunmow, rained when I went there, so need to visit again
4. Alan Higgs, free concrete on my door step, need to get over there more
5. Holbrooks bowls, however I've heard you shouldn't go down there on your own

edit:
6. Rom
7. Harrow

favourite place to ride

1. southsea skatepark, not the most up to date or well maintained due to council funding but in 16 years of riding there im still finding new lines to ride :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

2. southsea seafront, lots of walls, ledges, the pyramids and if u head in town u got the law courts, guildhall area, lots of street stuff around hence why its known as one of the best trials riding spots in the uk

places id love to visit

1. romford, been there before a few times but never with my bike, was helping a few mates out who worked for fearless ramps

2. harrow, again ive been there but never actually rode as i didnt have my bike

my problem is i literally live 2 mins form southsea skatepark so tend not to ride elsewhere due to convinence, time and i hate driving for more than 2 hours :LolLolLolLol:

I'm living off this thread...

Great searching for footage of various places...

Alan Higgs looks good, but Southwater looks great...

Dageneham and Herne Bay for me.

Thought I'd throw down some choices from a racing perspective. :LolLolLolLol:
