My New S&M LTF.
« on: November 16, 2008, 06:57 PM »
Seen a few peeps posting threads on there new rides so thought i would do one of mine, I am seriously in love with this bike.
I changed to the 20.5tt LTF from a 20.75tt Fit S3 although the frames have virtually the same geometry I am astonished as to the difference quarter of an inch in tt length makes.

Although I run two brakes I love the look of brakeless bikes so I took some pics before I fitted the brakes (yip i am that sad) so heres pics of both.
First time on it properly today and flatcap kindly took a few pics of it being ridden, cheers. A few radders told me today I have gone S&M nuts and I think there right.

Although i could i wont bore you with the spec.

A NS bike with 2 brakes AND the seatpost at Max height! Even a tabletop thrown in.

Right up my street!  :daumenhoch:

The one in the pic is a Proper but its no use as a front brake as you can see from the pic below, I am now running a AD999 on the front which is awesome and can be sourced for 30 quid if you shop around, there very similar to Fly but much cheaper.

I will post a pic of the AD999 when i take one and you can have a butchers i dont think there available in red though Gary.

If you have deep pockets and really want a red brake but perrsonally I'd go AD999 the fly on the rear of my bike is naf as the brass pivot bushes are worn to hell so it moves all over the place.
