Dont know if this has been posted already...?

Think I'd rather spend the money on a decent new school bike but what do you think?

I agree with you Robbo, get a nice bike for £400

are there any shots of the production bikes? this is the pic i always ssem to see with no front brake on, surely they don't intend it only have a back brake...it's a freestyler.

i think that is what you do to it afterwards.

all in all, despite the incredibly bad press it gets, i dont think its too bad as a f+f.

but then, i have rarely been cutting edge enough to have a valid opinion on cutting edge type matters.

Winstanleys have already reduced theirs to £349 !! seeing as there is a gen 1 f&f on the bay for £1400 it becomes a bargain ... they`ll be cheaper still come christmas

Re doing the bike that started freestyle is a fantastic idea, but if it's not done properly why bother !!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean i don't think it's all 4130 cromo and that is an insult to reproducing a classic.

For less money, get the '91 if & when there's one on eBay.
IMHO probably the best version ever made, full CRMO, chrome plate, 990 mounts and no annoying platforms on the chainstays.

Its a piece of crap so dont waste your money. The original was a masterpiece but this is a cheap fake designed  to squeeze cash out of nostalgic oldschoolers. Dont fall for Haro's trap and steer well clear. This idea would have come from a bunch of fat bald blokes that know fukk all about freestyle or BMX , in a brainstorming session. Its all about getting your money into their pockets. If you were there in the early 80's and had a Haro gen 1 ( I was and I did) you would see this is a fooking joke.  :angrysoapbox:

Well said that man  :daumenhoch:

If anyone does buy one of these you'd best get a tin of this to go with it although designed for foreign and domestic policy it apparently works well for bringing up over priced hi-ten imitations of the real thing  ;).

I know these are not Haro, but any of you heard of Kappa bikes http://www.kappabmx.com/main.html .  I think they can do one off remakes of classic style frames with modern tubes.  Mostly they make Hutch style frames(origainal they were Hutch, but i'm not sure).

What do you think? anyone had one of these?
