It's almost embarressing to post this cos it clearly such total bollocks...

but...when i was a kid there was a rumour that diamond backs had industrial diamond in the alloy to add super (hyper?) strength to the frame.

top that!!

of coarse its true !!!  why do you think the turbos were so expensive ??  because they have blue diamonds in them   ;D

That's a bit like the tosser that told me when i was a kid a white bike weighs less cos there was less colour in the paint, I believed him as well. :(

When i was speading the word that i'm after a bmx, one of my mates (aged nearly 30) asked me if it was true about the diamonds in the frame..!
it brought it all flooding back  :'( the good old days on my bmx - king of oakfield drive!!!!
