Blue ones are really hard to get, Ive been after one for ages. But then again, so are Gold .... and green. Infact, Black and red ones are the only easy ones, and they are still hard to get. Shall I shut up now?  :-[

I dont think any shafted redneck goes for less than £50 any more. This one is perfect condition and a hard to get colour. It dont seem too bad really.

Anything is only worth what someone will pay. About a year ago there were a couple of NOS rednecks on ebay and they only got about £40. I think more people do want them now, but there is still every chance that this one wont sell for that price. Its more about who is bidding that week/day.

Missing the Wedgie Jackson?  NOS?  Screw that.  That's New Old Missing Stuff.  But I digress.

I just scored a silver one for $45 USD.  SO, there are still some out there at a good price.  I, myself, feel odd if I don't own at least 4 at one time.   :uglystupid2:

BTW, got those measurements Alex?   :daumenhoch:

did all rednecks come with the wedgie? i thought it was only standard on the laters ones,

£70/£80 isnt that bad really, i paid £80 for my nos black one, what were they brand new back in the 90's? £50/£60?
if they start going over £100 then thats whaen its getting fooked up,

way i see it is if someones gone to the effort of keeping an outdated old bike part for 10years without using it then a £20 drink isnt too much to expect,

i like the blue version alot, looks sweet as fook

Well, the shafted ones weren't around long before things went threadless.  As far as I know the Pott's mod ones were the only ones with short wedges.

I had one come that way too.  I just figured it was swapped out with a DK, because I've had couple Pitchforks that couldn't accept the porno length of the Wedgie.  They don't fit in a lot of forks.

The redneck was out for a little while without the wedgie. That came a bit later, but was still an option incase you wanted to run a front brake.

I came up with the idea of the long wedge, I send Moeller drawings of it and everything, but I think that has got lost in the mists of time. I have heard a few other people from round that time say they thought of it too, and they probably did.

(the first one I made had was front brake friendly, I still have it).
