Skyway ta diffrent models

Well i got 2 shorties a white and a chrome but both are 83 models and when i was 14yo i had one that the rear dropouts had skyway cut out on them? anyone know why?


Also whats the thing with these ? Ta xs
                                                    Ta 180
                                                    Ta 280
                                                    Ta 300
as like the look of these but never seen any for sale think they were produced around 1988  cant find any info on these other than pics :-\

The Skyway XS was a pit bike version . . . and rare as rockin' horse poo I reckon

Great mini TA. Are those Skyway race bars? Do you know where I could buy a set? They are as rare a fook too!

think they are ez bars as notice the bend the padding is hidding the other bar :)

what retro says is true.

the mini (or pit) was a damaged TA that was chopped up and turned into a pit.

tiz true Skyway didn't make a 16". The TA300 didn't even have oval tubing. I thought somebody on here had one?

I've got a Skyway helmet on it's way. Not sure who's it was yet, but apparently the rider's name is on it, and he was a factory rider.

The later ones were just skip food Tom, I can`t believe that skyway made a bike and put spokes on it  :idiot2:

Billy they cant be skip food ??? they are much harder to find than the teardrop tubing version and i would like em so the must be coolio ;D also i think you are addicted to this smilie :idiot2: Think you should use this one more :coolsmiley:

Stevo i dont own them bars mate got the pic from another site dude  :) but i reckon knowing skyway the are probably ez bars with a single tube welded in ;)

yeah, by all accounts the later ones are a load of crap but they're very rare, i wouldn't mind one.
