Skaterham - from time to time.  You'll have to contact them and ask when it's next being installed  :)

Apes in Sockton, full indoor park. Shut down cos some kid injured himself on a rhythm section and sued the Park  :tickedoff:

I loved the foam pit, spent many an hour just trying to bust whips and shit. Daft cvnt he who spoiled it for every one  :tickedoff:

There's a couple of things really,  if you throw your bike, it's likely to bounce back up into you, and everyone tries flips and the foam tends to grab your head/neck and hold onto it, dishing out some wicked whiplash injuries....

Golden rules are to hit every jump with 1000% commitment, and never let go of your bike   ;)

they are bad as infection disease zones ,infection capitol of the bmx world.
if you slam and cut yourself  get a jab.
even indoor ones collect moisture and sweat from the air  rats live in some  honest.

apart from that have fun   :D

Yeah, they found 3 seperate rats nest in Newports pit when they stripped it out years ago......

As for getting hurt, don't worry about it, just think about what you're doing and hit everything hard   ;)

Wow i had no idea about the disease and rat thing in foam pits, it makes sense though as i have had rats in my garage and loft in the past and they seem to adore nibbling on foam.

As long as you don't eat too much of the stuff, and don't rub open wounds on it, you'll be reet   :)
