sorry, but I feel that he digs are far from fair, the rick FS is a fine bike, the stands are only a problem if your like Sir fruit, and lets face it, that bloke is a one off, a clear novice.

Matt, i commend you, remember the TrickStar and many others had the same Standers, its all about learning the bike you ride.

That brake set up looks interesting Obe. Did you just have the evolver resting in place or is it on a adapter plate. I assume that you have routed the cable a little better now. Does it work well like that as I was wondering how it works with the pivot point needing to bend at a strange angle with it being set up as a front brake. If not, have you thought about using an odyssey Pozistop and a straddle cable. I guess you wouldn;t be able to do frame stands behind the seat though if you used that method.

the lugs are tigged onto the frame san. the cable seems to be ok zipped to thframe with a slight bend in it. the front however is another story.

You got a real hybridsonbitch going on there Phil. Will be interesting to see how it works. What problems you got going on with the front then ?

Matt, sorry to hijack your thread mate.

its got alloy rims on now, but you know me with rims san, i had none, so the ones i had were shit as shit can be. the oddy pads dont want to stop them at all. it has linear slicks, dirty harry levers, so it should have enough power to flip you over the bars, but itis weak as piss. we even rubbed coke on it las week at bones..... diffrent pads and rims i think....

That does sound seriously not right for your set up. I have some 48 spoke chrome Arayas. Would you like to borrow them to try it out? They are not NOS, so no worries.
