Haro Group One RS1 has a 20.25" TT

Unfortunately the BB is in the same place so it still rides like a 19.5" but with the Seat tube at a riduculous angle and still with you banging your knees on the bars!!

How exactly do you take this measurement? My 89 GT XL could be 18 or 19.5 depending on how you do it  :-\

Everyone does it differently!!

I measure mine from Centre of Head tube to centre of seat tube along the length of the Top tube (to take into account any weird/long Seat Tubes)!!

If you did a Haro Group One RS1 from the top of the seat tube and top of the Head tube then you'd probably add an extra inch or two!!  :-\

In that case an 89 GT Pro Series XL has a 19.5 inch top tube.

That sounds about right!!

But soon after they would have changed to 20.5" for an XL as the 90's race frames all got longer!!

What is a typical length nowadays, I've had a ride of one and they feel real long, didn't want to turn like my trusty old steed, was pushing the front round the berm

They tend to be much longer these days!!

But there still is a lot of variation.   I'd say 20.5" is the minimum for an adult NS ride (unless your a Spen).

You should race some OS and get that BITD vibe going again!! :daumenhoch:

Bummer!!

If you feeling okay for the 10th of May then get yourself down to Preston for an OS extravaganza!!!  :daumenhoch:

Huge US Style trophys on offer and Huge purse (over £100).  OS Show and shine with trophys going to the Best Race bike and best show bike along with a prize.

Even if your not up for racing, if you fancy a road trip then get yourself down to Preston.  It should be a right laff!!  :daumenhoch:
