That's virtually identical to the one footer that was already posted up! (Just more folk in the crowd..)

Are those two pics definetly from different years?

I didn't think Neil had that bike that long....

I'm sure when I was doing all the BFA nationals in '86 he was already OFF Skyway and ON Holeshot....

He's even got the same Vans on.... MUST be from the same comp! Or was it a different K.o.S. at Southsea from '85?

It's the same comp - look at the crowd behind - it's the same people for sure.

It just brings the whole thing about which year into question again. I was thinking '86 but I'm not 100%, which is why I asked.

Anyway - what ever the year, it was great to watch, and I'm glad I could bring some of it back to life on RadBMX.

maybe it was 85. i just put 86 cos the subject said 86/87.

it wasn't 87 cos campbell was in the rebellious street mode by then. neil had quit the sport. maybe the title should be changed to 1985.

99.9 % certain it's 85 as me and Slade were there and this is why I remember.....

Dave woke up in the Hotel room we were in at about 03.00 Saturday night and proceeded to puke up thick lumpy sick in to the sink that stunk like the Devil arse. He then collapsed back on his bed and couldn't get back up. The problem was the sink was blocked, the smell was horrendous and some fooker had to unblock the sink. With no tools to do it with, silly b@stard here had to put my hand in and unblock it, gipping like fook myself!!! He fooking knew about it in the morning I can tell yer!!!

Daz.  :knuppel2:

It was '85. The first attempt got rained off, though it did stop pishing down eventually. Thats when the riders put on a bit of a demo for the soaked crowd. The Skyway US team also did a show on the flat and Hugo Gonzalez ripped it up on the Quarter pipes.
I think it was re-run the following weekend, though couldnt get down for that one.
Got Hugo & scotty freeman to sign the July '85 Freestylin' cover though.Nice :)

I stole Neil's one-footer for the "Wow" photo album on my Myspace. And there are only two pictures in there so far. A testiment to the badassedness of that style  ;D

EDIT: one hand-one footer
