shipping a F&F to the states ?

any one sent a F&F to the states recently ?

just wondering ball park what the cost will be for say a

tracked air freight 7 day service or something similar

about £40 would think if you want it tracked and that quickly..

but checked on parcel force and with up £500 comp
i got it costing £120 odd ....

which is $186

seems bloody steep to me

foook thats not good is it... its the tracking that costs, if you send it as is it shouldnt cost anywhere near that.  Dont suppose our amazing pound will help at the moment $1.50 ffs!!

what made me laugh though was the statement the comp cover was only for the UK
as it would be other postal services dealing with it in the US
so beyond their control etc

Needing to post a frame to the States and have got these quotes so far -

Based on a parcel - 35cm high, 20cm wide and 100cm long, weight 4 kilos....

it was my 24" retro Azusa  :(  had to go as i wanted more gears and some bouncey forks .....

so sold that and brought a rockhopper  :daumenhoch:
