Whatever Happened To...
« on: October 24, 2008, 07:48 PM »
Ive been thinking, due to watching some mid school vids again, about certain riders who I thought were great in the mid school era, and wondring if anyone know where they are /what theyre doing / if they still ride today! Feel free to add to the list too!

Mike 'the boy' Ocoboc - so called cos Moeller knocked on his door, his mum answered, Moeller forgot his name, and said...'err, is the boy in?'

Mike Griffin - remember his barspin on a Dirtbike piccie? I remember Raleigh nicking that pic and using it for a display of bikes at a trade show!

Keith Treanor. What a funny dude.

Davin 'Psycho' Halford. ? think that was his name...

Dave Clymer - one of my favourites.

Jim Burgess

Jody ? rode for Bully I think - does the backflip on the Hi-5 tv show about bmx

the two brothers from the Bristol area.. what wre their names? Surname began with 'S' i think.

John Barnett
jon Pratt
Paul Roberts
Mike Mullen

Cheers!
steve

Clymer is around, not riding but he has got over his drug problems now.

Paul Roberts got married in LA, and doesnt seem to be doing the comentry for EVERY contest any more

John Pratt is on facebook but Ive not spoken to him for ages

John "CONG" Barnett still rides, has a mini ramp in his backgarden in Northampton and pops on on the Union site now and again. I saw him at the Rom Jam this summer, he wasnt to chatty really?

Mike Mullen has bought into Team Extreme I believe and is pretty much running the firm nowadays.  I rode Skaterham with him a couple of months ago as it happens.

I had a chat with Jon Pratt at a bike show a couple of years ago - he was living abroad (summat like Spain) and working as a filmmaker of some sort.

Paul Roberts?  Though you would have known, he's the voice of pretty much everything these days.  What you don't know though, is that his father and a client of mine are best mates.  Small world eh?   :)
