Anybody got any pics of Jeff Watson or Tinker Juarez?

Jeff Watson was the first person I had ever seen get real air in a skatepark on a bike. He was in Action Now magazine in 1980 and he was the reason I started the bmx thing. I never saw anything about Jeff after that mag and no longer have the pics but even now they would look awsome. Anybody got any info on watson ? I know he used to ride with Tinker Juarez who was also awsome. Billy you would love the pics of Jeff  as he was nuts like you  .

Two of my alltime favourite riders. They are what started me on my skatepark carrer! Note the similarities between Jeffs bike and my goose!

Thanks for the pics I was starting to think that these riders were part of my imagination. It was through looking at pictures of these two that inspired me to ride going on to ride for Torker and then GT and going on tour with Fiola , I have always thought both these riders were before their time and to me they are the inspiration of a generation. But if your not 40 now you might have missed them.

I just turned 40 so Jeff watson and Tinker were BIG heroes of mine bitd. Way before there times.

Great riders, but Tinker looks a little bit strange in the Joe kid dvd, these are the early riders that really got bmx freestyle, or pool riding, on the map and without them taking huge chances we would never have tried it ourselves

Yep, it misses a big part of racing out, but the freestyle is bit is good, and the extras on the dvd are good too. It helps if you know or rode with some of the people on there too.

I agree Billy, I thought it Tinker sounded/looked bit like a woman!

Joe Kid is great though. The directors had to leave a lot to stuff out due to time, but it covers a lot of freestyle which I was into more than racing, so I am not complaining. Modern day racing looks awesome though, can't wait for the Olympics in 2008.
