List one rider in each category from Racing & Freestyle from the 80's or 90's ( depending on when you were riding I guess )

Who were your childhood heros in BMX , the ones you aspired to be like ? .

I'll start ...........

RACING - Greg Hill ( I got a GT Pro Santa Ana because of seeing him in magazines & on covers being so dominant in 82/83 ) .

FREESTYLE - Mike Dominguez ( always looked uber cool ) .

1986 Comp , check how smooooth the 540 is ! .

Racing 80s - Stompin' Stu (Just seemed larger than life!)
Racing 90s - Christophe Leveque (I've yet to see anyone smoother)

Freestyle 80s - Camps (Had the best bikes and best tricks)
Freestyle 90s - Rick Moliterno (IMO the finest BMX rider in history)

A chap called Nigel Murphy who rode for Bournemouth BMX club, he also rode at the 85 Kelloggs for the Hot Wheels team.

I was never in to big named riders.

i had no interest in famous riders at all BITD i just used to enjoy riding, saying that i did know who greg hill was as i had a GHP, but the only rider that i ever took notice of was sid salisbury (spelling?) there was one picture i saw of him, possible a gt test and i thought he was cool as fook!

I remember sids jumping was amazing he did a demo at one of the holeshot comps 85 or 86 did loads of jumps off a trick ramp to flat it was mental.
