Yes Zak , sure was  :daumenhoch: .

It was a mini frame-forks , Rick ( Reilley1 ) has one that his kids use .

A few of us do  ;) .

Px'ed for a Curtis Freestyler in 1984 from Hotshot at Kidlington , Dec 1982 Vector Mark II Black Chrome Ltd Edition ( very rare , don't know of another in the UK ) .

F+F .

2 ways it was built in the 80's , Street & Race .

It was only raced once at a club meeting at MK just to try it , the bb was too low & it was my street bike anyhow ( good tt length though ) . Went straight back to my race bike ( PL20 ) .

In process of being built up as survivor with used parts for RADBMX MK06 ( Star bars , Profile 2nd gen box cranks , chrome Ukai's , Hutch pedals were added etc ) .

I've some mint 8" std bars & NOS padset too .

Vector freestyler ( library pic , there were I think 2 versions of these ) .

My Race shirt .

Been into them since 84  ;) .

Vector was started & the products designed by Mark Baumann .

Vector 24" Cruiser , complete & F+F .

Another ad , maybe circa 84 . The Victory I & II were marketed & sold as complete bikes , the Victory I was better more expensive componentry than the II . There is thoughts also along the lines that the taiwanese were involved in these complete builds if only perhaps components but perhaps more . The later frames were'nt it's said stamped with serials either .

A factory frame made specially for Tim Kakouris at Vector , check out the brace behind the BB to stiffen it up .

I've seen the frames with two types of forks.

One type looks like a freestyle version the other a race type "Akisu oval tube forks"

Personally I like the look of the oval ones  :smitten:

The oval type forks are not Vector made, Vector forks have a reverse slash, round extended fork legs and the freestyle ones the same but with pegs welded at the top  :daumenhoch:.

What MartyC says ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ , the oval ones you speak of are'nt Vector forks . Nowadays the frames are reasonably easy to come across , forks are'nt  ;) .

Why ? , the answer is in my post above . Are they any good ? , is what any good ? .

On ebay.com over the last 3-4 years loads of frames ( unfinished non painted ) have been offered without forks .
