im wondering if someone can help put a price on my `87 haro
rear drop outs are fairly good
needs a strip and re-powder or paint

thinking of selling and want to gauge a price
im going to look for a restored complete bike as ive got a couple of projects on the go already
thanks for the help

I would say you should get around £100 - £200, its a nice frame especially for a rider, but those forks are not the correct ones, so this will always effect the price  ???

The 87-88 Haro's are very sought after because they still look like an early Haro but have the 990 mounts  :daumenhoch:

i'd be suprised if you get near £ 100 for it to be honest bud , i have just sold a mint chrome 86 which is slightly more desirable for £ 200 . for some reason they just dont seem to make any money at the moment .

Ahh erm... Mike wonder who that went to  :LolLolLolLol:

As Jai was selling a near complete nos bike for £120, if you look at it like this and as that don't have correct forks,... I reckon its worth about £80-100 posted tops. But what the feck do I know  ;D

the forks are stamped 1987 on the stem tube
there is also other faint lettering on the fork tube but some of it has worn away,it ends "ner"

Could be goose forks Andy? I have a set downstairs in the utility room which looks like these and they are boss forks.

As the frame is only the original feature, god knows what this maybe worth? £65 to £80 posted perhaps? Can't see it doing more. The real challenge would be getting hold of the original forks.

In any case Paul, if you want to sell it, let me know as i'm after a resto job  :daumenhoch:
