Cheers :). the only problem there is, is that they come at you to fast. Wish we had put a bit bigger gap between the jumps now. But its a challenge that just has to be done :daumenhoch:

Cracking sun-set pic Paul. Its a good camera you have there :daumenhoch:

Me and Paul (weather permitting) will be up again tomorrow evening, if anyone wants to join us. Besides the damage, it was a good ride tonight, with a full quarry to ourselves. No kids asking you to jump this or that.... Bliss :daumenhoch:

I'm still aching after my mini sesh the other night.

Good to meet Paul.  Unfortunately I was having a mare with the cliffside stuff and it just wasn't happening  :(

Desparate to try the first one of the mini dp next time so I need to get my head right.

Some good vids going up.  A lot of inspiration there.

Good to meet you to Mr.Dexter, even if it was only for ten minutes. Sadly it was a BMX free weekend for me. Would have been good to have a senior riders session, but best to do that when it's a bit quieter, we don't want to show the young'uns up and all that  ::). Our next project digging wise is to get some fun trails up and running with some berms and small jumps that everyone can have a go at. Don't think any more big stuff will be built this summer and I need to put down the spade and ride my bike more anyway, did a few little jumps tonight  :D The miniDP seems to be difficult for born again riders, like Tommy said, BITD the jumps where well spread out and you had loads of time to set yourself up, now it's all crammed together and you need to be thinking at least one jump ahead :crazy2: Tommy and Nige can both jump the first one fine and should be able to do two and three easily but it's just getting your head round the take-off land, take-off land, take-off land scenario ;)

Yep - moves too fast for my brain.

It looks so do-able though so I know it's just getting there on the right day to make it happen.  I'll aim for 1 next time I'm up (Julyish) and see where I go from there.

What makes me laugh is as we get "a-hem" older, we put more thought into what we are trying to do where years ago you just DID IT.
Its worse when some snotty nosed 14yo kid comes along and just does it and we sit and moan... where we are the daft tw*ts who built the bloody things :idiot2: :2funny:

Do Redline make wheelchairs and zimmer-frames?

Tonight was perfect for riding, no wind and no kids, the news is that the weather forecast is good for the rest of the week too. Got my days exercise in by building a little jump  :daumenhoch: I'll be up on the GT tomorrow night to test it out.

I think an old bike is just perfect for an old bloke, and anyway I'll need it if I decide to race in the OS class. You should pop up on yours some time, someone might make you an offer.

You'd be fine Russ, a race track is just a trail that eight people race around. Riding single track trails makes you a better rider and a better racer, certainly worked for me  :) We've got jumps for all abilities so there's something for everyone, bring your lad down too and have some fun.  :daumenhoch:
