Nice work!  :daumenhoch: It will be good to have a trail or two for those who are just learning, or re-learning, or just chilling out, or whatever. Nice shot of Jack powering out of the corner.

Hope I can make it up tomorrow to ride the revamped spiral, try the new berm and dig of course.

I forgot to say I also reversed the berm behind the DP. Its a bit dodgy to ride yet because of low dangling thorns. Forgot to take pics though :idiot2:

Ive been reading this thread for ages now and always look forward to seeing new pics.

One thing which has been on my mind though. Is it not possible to get a mini JCB down into the quarry? Imagine the graft it could have saved you.

Top Job.. :4_17_5:

Theres practically no chance of get a digger in with it been nat' trust property. Im sure you have read through the thread of them sort of allowing us to ride and use the quarry (we were building, before they bought it sort of thing) but massive changes all in one go would prob' be pushing things to far. Thats why we prefer to "tweak" the quarry rather than building a super-trail. Anyway its alot to do with the "exercise" we receive in digging by hand. Its also great to finish something then new ideas spring up over time. To be honest if we had a digger for a day or two we wouldnt have a clue as to what to build and where. We just like to dig abit, then ride abit. Its nice to just get up there and leave the rest of the world behind. Its taken about 30 years to get where we are today...... whats the rush ;)

I've had the cold to, I'm blaming Nige as he had it last week. Toothache, straight to the dentist is the best advice  :daumenhoch: "a cross between a Hamster and the Elephant-man"  that would be an Elephant-hamster then  :LolLolLolLol:

I got family visiting at the weekend but will try and get up if possible.

Went to the dentist on Tuesday and told him "ive got an infection in a tooth". He took an xray and gave me a perscription for penicilin. Cost me £21.00 for something I already knew. The tooth is coming out in June ffs. :tickedoff:

What a rip off. I might just go up the quarry and try a double back-flip and knock the bugger out :daumenhoch:

Had a look up this morning and the surface looked good after the recent downpours, hope to get up after tea tomorrow with a bit of luck. I'll bring my camera to capture the promised miniDP action  :daumenhoch:

Must have been good to be out on the track yesterday, fantastic weather, I did an 11 mile hike which was great :buck2: but took all day so didn't make it to the quarry  :(

Anyway Nige is up right now with Ste Prez and Mike Hill. I've got visitors till 4/5pm but I will definitely be up with my camera as soon as they have gone  :daumenhoch:. Best time of day to be up anyway so hope to see you all then, might even get the old GT out for a blast.

Went up tonight about 6.30 and met Paul there. F***ing nightmare... Glass everywhere. Talking to a couple who were dog walking said they passed about 7 lads walking up with camping gear last night about 8ish. They had a fire near the run-up to DP1 (glass and cans everywhere) Left their tent (which was brand-new) at the top where the run-up to the spiral starts (shows how thick they are camping where its wet and boggy) and also smashed bottles on and around the hip-jump in the middle of the quarry.
So by the time we had tided up it was 8 before we got riding. It was a bit damp but had a good session riding till 9-30.
Well done to Paul for getting air and jumping the new jump before the new berm  :daumenhoch:
