LOL Was thinking of new bars anyway. I have to say its harder than I thought. Suprised how smooth the video looks cos it didnt feel like it ;D
Need to get smaller trails done now for old timers :2funny: and calm down abit. Had no intension of jumping but you know me... just couldnt help meself.
Still...least I can say I still got it ... Cheers for the warning ... Sensible riding from now on

Just to add...I also jumped SODP3, but ermmmmmmmmm

Jumped far to far right and missed the middle of the landing, hit my back wheel on the lip front wheel at the bottom then agggghhhhhhhhh straight over the bars, a full flip and landed on my back in the swamp. :crazy2:

Stood up looked around and waited for the applause, but thankfully I was all alone.

Would have made a cracking video tho :buck2:

BITD all that was involved was a run-up, then a jump followed by a long landing and plenty of time and space to ride away. There so much science involved in trails today where a good landing gives you zip for the next one (so you have to maybe gauge a tweak to the brake). A bad landing looses you speed and its all down to body movement and pumping to get back to speed (no time to pedal). Learned alot today and it gives you more respect to the people who ride :daumenhoch:

Found a few logs to finish off the berm/water-butt thingy....

Not a good forecast for the weekend. Sunday might be the best day of the two.
Been limping since I came off on Wed with a sore knee ::)

Well it was a bit of a strange day weather wise, looked ok so I went up and then it started raining and then it turned out nice again. Got the reverse spiral working better, got DPP jumpable, met Mooch and his pal and got some good shots of Jordan jumping the DPP.

Mooch, DPP test pilot.

Jordan, pure BMX race style  8). AQL rider of the week, natural jumper, loadsa height and fearless, just needs to work on his tricks and get a skid lid  :daumenhoch:

Click on the globe then look for "Testing new jump DPP".

The lads got talent  :daumenhoch:, I was well impressed with his jumping and the landings not even sorted yet. Reckon he'll be a Death Pack Man in a year or two if he sticks at it.

He has to share the award with Tommy really, if only he'd landed his miniDP3 front flip first time out after 20+ years watchin telly he would have won rider of the decade  :LolLolLolLol:

Had a quick look up tonight to change the rubbish bags. Four good lads up there jumping mDP, encouraged one into trying the new jump and he loves it. Makes 20 hours diggin worthwhile when someone says that  :daumenhoch:

Don't think I'll make it tomorrow but should make Wednesday.

I should add that I've improved the landing since the  Mooch and Jordan photo shoot.

Im coming up sometime in the aftey. Is anyone taking a barrow up. Ill push one up if we get organised. I'll prob have Dan with me again as he has the "quarry" bug now, so he can push me bike and Ill push a barrow (or put me bike in a barrow).
Weather is sunny and showers so we will have to see what we get.

Tanked down today... 200 yards away. It was amazing seeing the thunder and lightning and it lash down and we never had a drop  :daumenhoch:

Somethings wrong somewhere... I did 6 hours digging while me son enjoyed 6 hours riding. ???

Surfaced a berm and built some smallish doubles for the kids trail...

Jack testing. The berm's a bit sticky but should be good when it drys.
