Quarry is looking great lads, good work. I promise I will take a look up soon, just dont seem to find the time at the moment.

The schedule for the weekend is ..................................... Digging
Get your self up sometime, even just for a look and a chin-wag. Wednesdays and the weekend is usually the time when one of us is up there. Have you got a bike at the mo? When the clocks go forward we hope to have a few nights up there like the old days  (better than the weekend when the place gets swamped with kids from thornaby doing everyones head in). Im on the look-out for a Bmx (to share with me son), or a 24" jump bike for myself if you know where theres one going.

I seen the piccy of you at Hartlepool on the old-skool thread. It was Paul who noticed it. I told him Id never have noticed it was you if he didnt say. I'd have been looking for a gadgey with "blonde" hair

I have no bike at the mo, but do have access to one if i need to.
I will look forward to a look up, perhaps saturday, but not promising. Night time when the clocks change sounds better.
Which pic did you see me in? Dont think I have seen it.

There you go Adam, have you ridden recently? if you haven't then you're in the same boat as the rest of us, we aint jumped anything in ages, well apart from Tommy doing the DP 

Paul, I was riding again up until about 18mths ago, but mostly in skate parks. I got to ride at a level I was happy with, but was no master, but was getting better. Its a shame I stopped as I guess my new found skill and courage has probably disapeared again by now?
I did get to like indoor as the landings are softer when you crash, but wearing full arm leg and head protection gives a shaky rider a surprising amount of courage, the only way to learn!
If you see me getting serious up the quarry, it will not be without my protection!
Which thread was the pic from? I have not seen those pics from 'pool on Sunday.

Look under 'Events' then 'Old School Series Racing' I think your photo is around page 23. I'm thinking of strapping a couple of old mattresses to me self but it might ruin me pedalling action ha ha, I should be up Saturday, see ya then, and drag your lad up with ya

Had a spare 1/2 hour tonight & got a chance to ride my jumps,,, finaly   I'm still really busy at the weekends for the next month or so, but I might be able to sneek up the quarry after work one night when clocks change.

From the looks of that you should feel right at home on our new soon to be completed 8 pack (SoDP). For someone who's never ridden a 24" in anger how would you compare it to a 20", whats the main difference?

I still prefer 20, 24s ok but you seem to have ride over the front more.  24s feel and are faster but  I like 20 as it seems to be easy to throw it in the air.  Its just preference to the rider at the end of the day.

I still prefer 20, 24s ok but you seem to have ride over the front more.  24s feel and are faster but  I like 20 as it seems to be easy to throw it in the air.  Its just preference to the rider at the end of the day.

Yea, I'm lovin both them videos, I seen the first one before but the second one is new to me, fantastic trails and riding, that second place is amazin. Just one thing, I wish those boys would pull their pants up

PM me a price.... Im skint at the mo (as usual) but esp so at this time of year until I pay some winter dept's off. Im looking for something decent thats got a few miles on it (dont mind a few bumps and scratches), hence cheap. But not crap-cheap that will fall to bits in five minutes

Ive got a couple of lorry inner-tubes me and the kids use in the sea in summer and for sledging in winter. They should provide some protection

Yea we've made the quarry a little better with our recent work, but we've got a lot to do and learn if it's gonna flow as sweetly as in those videos. finish the 8 pack and then some careful though about phase 2.

Well what a crackin day in the quarry, all me old mates where there, it took me right back, Nick even had his trousers tucked in his socks OS style, if Tommy had had a stripey jumper and a lolly in his gob it would have been 1983 all over again

Looking at the pic with me in, I dont think stripes will do my figure any good (or is that hoops). Came home and cooked a pizza with chips ... looks like its the last of them for a while if I have any chance of fighting gravity on a bike again FFS
