Top guy is Keith.  He spotted one of my posts last week about my James buying a DH bike in Tunbridge Wells and was onto me by PM because he guessed it would have been ragged down PORC.  He gave me a very comprehensive list of what to look for on that type of bike which helped a lot.  And yes, he was right, it had been comped down the PORC track but apart from replacing the bearings in the rear suspension arm seems to have been a good buy.  James is hoping to hook up with Keith in the near future for a thrash round his track and to pick up some tips.  Top bloke!!  Humps

Seeing the racing life cover shot again after 25+ years is very cool, & seeing the Bournemouth OS national pics is cool too as i had no idea they existed!! :smitten:

V gratefull to Kev for digging these out (did it as soon as i asked!!) :)

Anyone that has old (or new) pictures that havent been seen they should post them up as i gives the people in them a big smile!!!!  ;D

Keith Wilson, who is he?, bloody guardian angel if you ask me  :4_17_5: Him, Renee, Travis and Nate are probably the nicest family i have ever had the pleasure to meet  :smitten:

I never had the pleasure of meeting Keith 1st time round but i thank god i met him 2nd time round......

Not only has he shown how a true racer wins in a dignified way but both him and Renee embody what is a true family, they support friends wholeheartedly and it's a genuine love of friends that leads them to do it........

I'll never forget the love and support both of them gave to Tony and I the weekend that we stayed with them, his understanding, compassion and general niceness gave us a brilliant weekend :4_17_5:

The way they supported us recently when Tony was ill makes them  :4_17_5:

Touched at some of the kind words people have written on here  :smitten:

Tony is right about Travis, while he doesnt have the power of some of the riders he's been racing (cos he's much younger) some of the things he's been doing here at home just amazes me, he got a full size builders bucket today, turned it upside down, put it a few feet in front of a (slight) rise in the ground & went & bunnyhopped straight over it on his 12" pit bike (he just had his 5th birthday!!!!!) then called his mum to watch & did i 5 more times.

He goes to the skatepark by his school everyday & the grown up riders there all stop riding when he gets there, high five him then film him with their phones & keep using words like 'amazing'.

I just think its great how bikes bring people together & give you friends for life.

I've raced loads different types of bikes over the years (engine & pedal powered) & its all the same, meeting friends & having fun.  :)
