I was wondering if anyone here has successfully removed the factory paint from an alloy frame? If so how was it done and what did you use?

If it's paint then I guess paint stripper would do the job.

i just stripped my pk ripper frame using nitromors
underneath the paint was a yellow etch primer - like a yellow clearcoat over the alloy
fetch that off with wire wool (fine grade) and soapy water
