ID THESE FORKS PLEASE...
« on: October 06, 2008, 04:47 PM »
Hi. Got these nice forks off Michael the other day and these will be going on my GT when I get it painted in the next two weeks. But I'm keen to find out what they are so they can be stickered correctly. I've done a bit of research but they look similar to General RL Osborn forks and also Mongoose Decade forks also....

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Matt  :daumenhoch:

The forks probably were made by akisu.
Boss cheapened up their production in the mid 80's, the welds on the forks are not up to the same standard as their frames and bars of the same period.

Very true. I've been reading more about them on vbmx in the states and they did exactly that, plus the forks were made by Akisu (like they did for so many other manufacturers). Thanks again for spotting that these were Boss forks mate, decals already sorted  ;)

  :daumenhoch: no worries

I kinda like boss stuff, small batch, quality usa goods. Nice designs, and a little underrated here.
I've got boss bars on my cruiser, and some will be going on my new revcore.
Stem and cranks would be nice but a little difficult to get hold of.
