You will need to replace the bit the freewheel screws onto with an original Suntour bit.  If you weren't too bothered you could get someone to weld the freewheel up and put a couple of spots on the bit it screws onto to stop it unscrewing. Bit of a bodge but it would save a few quid.

Post a photo if you can, but the freewheel should just undo & then you can attach a fixed cog  :daumenhoch:

No probably not a very good idea. You might need to get the brake "shoes" as well. Not sure if you have to remove them when fitting the freewheel bits.

I think i might have the answer to your problem mate, i have a nice NOS suntour coaster going spare. you can take the bits out of it and put them into yours. :daumenhoch: sorted

only prob is i have not got it at the mo i sent it to some one to see if they could convert an old type coaster which was not a suntour hub. but he will send it back if need be  :)

give me a pm  :daumenhoch:

I dont mind, i suppose it would be best to send it to me and i will send it on. or if you dont mind , can you describe it to him as in condition and all that and if he wants it then you can send you can send on to him, i was going to take a pic.

cheers steve :daumenhoch:
