hi fitting an inch gyro to 1 inch threaded headset frame and there doesnt seem to be enough pull before it bottoms out .can u get spacers for headsaet to give more clearance if so where please prob need another 5mm/7mm at most though otherwise the headset lock nut wont be fully wound on .ta guys

Which way up are you running the top plate mate? also do you have the bottom cable adjuster screws backed out enough so that the gyro sits flush on the bottom cable stop plate? :daumenhoch:

does that make any sense at all :LolLolLolLol:

YEP EVERYTHING IS THE RIGHT WAY BUT BECAUSE ITS INCH THREADED the stack height isnt high enough

Mine fitted alright!!

And with no extension to the stem!!

Is it a Gyro 1 or Gyro II or a different make?

What headset are you running?

I used to run my top plate upside down (so that the HS lock nut was sat 'in' the top plate) to give more travel on the gyro :)

Gyro II has Screw threads

Gyro I has Screw threads with a split in the thread to get the cable through (The ball at the end is too big to fit through the hole).  On the Gyro II the balls fit through so no need for the split.

Get a picture taken and let us have a look!!

PS. You can get spacers for the headset if you need to!!   Ask OrgasmDonor!!  He was selling a set!!

well ive got it working prett good now bit messing about but the headset lock nut is only on the forks by half what it should be .needs forks with bit longer steerer  tube i think .only added one extra washer bout 3mm thick .forks are pretty crap will be on the lookout for some more me thinks
