NOS = new old stock, if it's been on a bike it ain't

if the bike was a show bike, never used and the item is still minty then it's not "used" as every single component out there would be in that category, it's "Minty, show bike only fitted"

as for this Frame set, it's as minty as a really really minty thing from mintsville in a bath of polos, but has been built up. So not NOS, or nearly NOS, or NOS before building, just really really really really nice and minty.

Joe, for me i have to disagree.......it actually always makes me laugh when people even write 'used' well it's no longer fooking NOS then is it! but then that's just my missguided oppinnion as ever

i've got some black mx1000's..they were nos before i fitted them to a showbike.

never ridden.

so they are, by definition, used ?

i would describe them as that if is sold them,

used, still unmarked and priced accordingly

I got some GT tyres on my TA, they were "used" but I rode the thing round london.

see my point?

my MkI Burner went in the skip with a used seat on it, seat was fokked by then mind.

it's NOS or it's NOT.

i do see your point, but all your doing is providing a background for the prospective buyer

like i said, my mx1000 were nos before i fitted them and the bike was never ridden

it provides provenance for the prospective buyer, supporting the desciption of the condition of the goods

i have bought lots of stuff described as mint, and to be fair, it didnt meet my description of mint.

the buyer would be in no doubt as to the condition of my product if it was described as above

well i believe used is a very good way of describing items used and never ridden etc etc .thats better than saying used but mint etc .

I think this item is an exception as there wasnt another NOS one around before i 'lightly' built it. Its never been sat on so it will be described by me as i own it as NOS before lightly assembled.
