Just spoke with Lee and....
« on: October 01, 2008, 02:54 AM »
Me and Reynolds are going to give it our best to synchronize a visit next Summer. Unfortunately, because of school, I can't make it for OF6 but I get 2 weeks off between Summer and Fall semesters. I'll be taking 3 weeks to visit since the first week of school is always pointless.

So...what Lee and I need to establish ,since we are far from wealthy, is this...

Various locations where we can both crash on your floor/couch and are close to local hot spots.

I'm busking far in advance so's to establish a solid itinerary for both ourselves and friends we would love to see again whilst getting some good riding time in a fairly organized manner.

Anyone who is able to put us up for a night or two please let me know and also describe the local parks and riding scene. Gonna need some definites because I'm unsure of the exact dates of visit as of now. I know it's kind of early but I will give solid dates as soon as I can.

Thanks in advance and I've put away a jar to stuff money into to cover my flight ticket ;D

Hey Greg, i'm close to Rom and have space at the house so you an lee most welcome. Also have a flat which is always kept unoccupied, so that is also an option.
Lets see some pics of ya progress! Any Luck finding Jason Webb yet?

Wow, so the myth becomes legend... most of the locals missed that day, I heard all about it from a friend who said that when you landed the ramp wobbled 1/2 a foot...! Quality stuff!

Best I ever got on my race bike was 6  1/2 foot, cool place Rathbone, just neglected by the council...

Brilliant to see your're still riding!!!  :daumenhoch:

don't know if you'll remember me from back then...

i used to ride at the Stad and the school in Fazak, Rathbone & Wally hall with

Obbie, Mark Egan, Blunny, Jay Kay, Chaz, Flynny and a few others...

I think you you used to ride with my older brother Robby ( Macky ) before then...

I was talking to Mike Organ a while back too, he was asking about you!!

Great to know your still riding strong!!  :daumenhoch:

You might recognise a few face's from here from the Fazak bmx club....  :)

I think I went there twice/three times bitd, my old fella is from the Old Swan and we had family on Edge Lane.

Cool place but I didn't do loads of riding, a little intimidating when you're from out of town and on your own. I'd have been the quiet ginger kid on a white Sport  ::)

Dave or Obbie, can you answer me a question....why doesn't Simon Tabron have a Scouse accent? I was always led to believe he was a born and bread Scouser?? Am I missing summat?? I've got an excuse, we moved to Yorkshire when I was a sprog.  :)

Anyways, back on topic, room at mine too Greg but I'm also oop north. Depends where you want to ride.

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible cnut... ME!

I figured we  would start South since that's where Haethrow is and work up to the North. Looks like we're gonna be ok thx to you guys and your generous offers. Now I just need to know your locations so's I can map it out and work on the plan from there.

Glasgow. West End. The fun part.....

Livi skatepark - and lots of others up here now - if it's dry.

The Unit (  http://www.unit23skatepark.co.uk/ ) if it's not.

Do you mean Tabron?
I've never broken my arm... only my shoulder, jaw, skull and ankle several times!
Maybe another Lee?
Anyway, I'm doing good!
How about you?
