I'm after a chromer too, as I'm trying to restore my rather rusty haro sport frame, and was quoted around £250 by one online bike company. Not sure if that's a good price or not, but was too much for me.

I'm looking in the same area but would consider anywhere in London too.

Can anyone suggest anything ?

Any decent chromer will cost £150.00 + ( for frame / frame+forks ) .

If something is quite rusty & pitted then it may need mucho polishing so it gets more expensive , I took 2 frames to a chromer a while back & they were so badly pitted that each frame would've been approx a days polishing ( £200 approx ) before chroming .

London Chroming are about the best & most expensive at £280 approx .

At the end of the day you get what you pay for , like everything really  ;)

Looks like it would be cheaper to buy a frame in good condition, than to get mine chromed again.

Thanks for your help.

You can get better prices than you have been quoted ...
Had a JMC done earlier in the year, £120 for frame+forks, took them 3 months to get round to doing it, but it was worth the wait, chrome is flawless and these guys do chroming for classic cars and motorbikes... So don't give up looking ...
Afraid these guys are in the midlands though ...
