Mongoose, Raleigh Team Aero Pro's are nice (did I just admit that?), but does it beat this:

I think not.

That is a beautiful bike you have, but this is just as nice except it has burner on it.

I have too say i LOVE mongoose bikes, They are beautiful bikes. more so than a lot of higher spec bikes.I know if i start collecting them, that will be it-i will want them all !!

Well I love both. My first bmx was a super burner, and I loved it to bits. It was bought for me by my great uncle after my grifter got nicked. At the time, I knew nothing of bmx, I had never even seen an american bike at that point. It wasn't until some time later that I saw more expensive bmx's around, that I began to realise my bike wasn't that great. But I loved it all the same, and set out to improve the components, and make it lighter. I got some robinson expert bars, which cost a whopping £15, and some secondhand araya 7x's for it. I did used to lust after the bikes in the mags though, and get jealous of the local spoilt rich kids, whose parents bought them anything they cried for, bombing around on their mongooses, diamond backs, and pk rippers. The irony of this is though, that most of these spoilt bastards couldn't ride their bikes for shit. I could out jump most of them by miles on my heavy old burner.

So whilst mongoose built better bmx's, raleigh were not shit. BITD I thought truly shit bmx's were things like dirtburners, strattons, or other cheapo taiwanese catalogue bikes. Burner frames are also pretty strong, I landed mine from 7 foot on to the flat hundreds of times and it never broke.

Thanks for the praise. I love the responses from you guys. Any other site it's just another goose. Here and the UK 'gooses mean more to the average joe. I really appreciate it. It's getting fully rebuilt with new chrome and grips. The GT bars are very sadly rusted.
