If you do a 360 on a mini you will always come in backwards.

I think Hurricane used to be a sort of 90 deg tweaked rock n roll which you 270ed out of, coming back in forwards. Then someone did a 180 tire tap, to 180, and called that a hurricane.

what alex said is what now is concidered the common rock n roll, he's right though. the hurricane is either the hurricane 360 or hurricane 540 depending on the spin

Like most BMX trick names, it comes from skating. In skating, a hurricane is like a rock n roll but you tweak it round so the truck gets on the coping, kinda like an "anti smith", and then bring it all the way round, and coming out like a normal rock n roll. Since bikes dont have trucks, and if you tweaked a rock n roll round to the peg it would be a feble, I guess the BMX world dropped that trick name cos it wasnt really like the skate trick anyway

some tutorial viewing, not as good as watching bridge and leech in person, but still helps :daumenhoch:

Here's a nice little how-to vid for canadian nosepicks.

Personaly, I think they should be round a tiny bit more so the front wheel is totally square with the coping.

I also dont like the ones like this when you let the brake go and roll in. They are totally legit, but I prefer it when the are hopped in.

I’ve not seen a brake on the front of a bmx before, I did see one on the back once though. Is this a new thing? is there lugs on the fork legs then?

Prob not, ha ha! I once saw a kid with no brakes do a trick other than a smith on a block or bars off a kerb cut . . or maybe not?!! Soooooo many kids tell me they have no brakes, cos, 'you have to go for stuff cos you can't stop', so how come they never have more than 3 tricks  :LolLolLolLol:   !!!

The canadian witnessed at OF5 as performed by the Lip Technician was way more textbook than Clint's- a full 180 and hop in, anything else just doesn't cut it, eh?

sorry matey, after the coping meant that you had done a 180 (ish) and hit the coping with your tyre, then a 360, coming in forwards
