as far as i can remember and work out from photos didnt they just have an oval headtube sticker saying ace downwards on it and one frame sticker which i cant work out what it said
im sure you have more photos than me of the frames but from what i can work out theyre the only 2 strickers

when i first got back into bmx i was looking for ace stuff as i had a ace pad set bitd
theres hardly anything on the net about them i think one of my first conversations on rad was with you about ace and i was looking for an ace frame and forks
just like you was  ;) and you gave me probally all the pics ive got

heres the head tube one pic is probally from you

good luck on your quest m8  :daumenhoch:

Tony, I don't even have any pics of the decals either as I took mine off the frame and forks and all my pics are of my ACE without them  :(.  I do have some scans of Cav and Nicki on theirs on my other PC and they might show the downtube ones but from what I can remember they had the ACE in caps and Racing in script like the patch on the jersey Ian has posted  :daumenhoch:.  I can do a close up photo from my race pants below if you like...

I guess you've tried the other team members then -- I had a thread with some names mentioned, but I can't seem to find it right now :crazy2:. It's damned, I can#t believe that the founder of the FIRST UK BMX TEAM can't be found! We have got to change that! Can you remember how old he was round'80, where he lived then, or where he worked? This may be a tuff one ( : ) , but it shall not be impossible  :tickedoff: :Great_Britain: :2gunsfiring_v1:

Otherwise you could have course just make up some stickers  -- i  mean who could tell  ;D  :buck2:

Around 1980 he woud have been in his 40s, Im sure he lived in Chingford. I have spoken to Pete Middleton in the past and he doesnt know where he is, I havent spoken to Nikki Matthews or Cav, but Nikki lives in Spain now. Cav is still riding bikes but as a cycle courier. Would be good to find him though.

To be honest it's unlikely Richard will remember what they looked like if we can't  :D

I am still pretty certain that the ones I had were the ACE Racing logo with Aces in each corner, ACE on the headtube and a cro-moly sticker on the seat tube.  Might have had a Pro decal on the seat tube too but I can't be sure.

A

192.com finds 37 richard Barringtons in the U.K.--2 richerds older than 65 [FILTER on the left]
http://www.192.com/atoz/people/barrington/richard/      now 192.con isn't free in this specific case  (due to the source of info)
at least it shows their names (1) Richard C Barrington    Other occupants: Sally
                                              (2) Richard W Barrington    Other occupants: Marjorie Barrington

and it showed where its info came from : the electoral rolls 2002 -2007? smth like

-you might get a cheap cd on ebay, i dunno about that, but have heard of some being lucky with 5-10GBP
-someone you know might have full access to 192.com by membership
-possible alternitives with temporary membership for a few ~5quid might work,

this sucks
